OUR MISSION

Protecting Tennessee

The mission of the Tennessee Fire Marshals Association is to advance fire prevention and life safety across Tennessee through professional leadership, education, collaboration, and statewide advocacy. TFMA unites fire marshals, fire inspectors, plans examiners, engineers, architects, contractors, and other fire and life safety professionals to strengthen professional standards, promote consistent and effective codes and practices, develop the next generation of fire prevention leaders, and provide a unified voice on issues that impact the safety of Tennessee's communities.
